Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in SoC Failure Analysis.
- Experience with bench or ATE test platform, electrical fault isolation tools, and CAD navigation tools.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of DFT (e.g., Boundary Scan, ATPG, MBIST).
- Knowledge of Python, TCL, C, Java, and other programming languages for automation.
- Knowledge of process technology nodes and Physical FA.
- Familiarity with Linux, Google Workspace, Android systems.

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000-$220,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Perform failure analyses on highly advanced and complicated issues using electronic circuit, Design for Test (DFT), and process technology knowledge.
- Analyze Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) data logs, Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), and MBIST (Memory Built-In Self Test) diagnostic results. Use CAD tools to visualize the diagnostic callouts and work with DFT and Test Engineering teams to create Failure Analysis (FA) debug test patterns, and perform simple test/pattern modifications for ATE-based fault isolation.
- Perform electrical fault isolation techniques to narrow down the failure to a specific cell. Be responsible for guiding the Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) of the device by generating PFA instructions
- Perform FA CAD database creation/conversion and FA database development.
- Write reports and discuss findings with the stakeholders. Drive Physical Failure Analysis and root cause analysis, including corrective actions.
